Our mission at Bayside Family Dentistry, is to treat you and your family as if you were our own family. Our aim is to build long, genuine relationships for life, and we want you to call on us anytime whenever you need us.
When you become a valued patient at Bayside Family Dentistry you will realise that we are not your average dental practice. We love to dish up a main course of professionalism with a bit of friendly banter on the side.
The friendly principal dentist is Dr Suzanne Cairns who has a wealth of experience and knowledge. She has undergone extra training from implants to orthodontics, and cosmetic injectables / Botox to sleep dentistry. Along with the expertise comes a gentle and calming approach, to ensure you receive exceptional, unique care.

When You Arrive
Relax and catch your breath in our reception area. You will notice we do things differently than normal; we will take the time to give you our time. You will meet with our wonderful receptionist staff and then with Dr Suzanne. Be prepared for a bit of a yarn!
Dr Suzanne will allocate up to one hour for your comprehensive examination, which includes taking X-rays and photographs. A formulated personal care plan is completed and discussed with you afterwards. We emphasise on minimally invasive dentistry, meaning we treat each person with the utmost care, but with as little intervention needed.
Payments
Attached to those teeth are people who have bills to pay, so we are none too aware that sometimes it’s stressful to manage it all. We will discuss with you and formulate a treatment/care plan that suits your requirements.
We have HICAPS on-site to claim your health funds rebates right away.
Want to pay later?
No problem. Patients have found our Zip Pay and Zip Money facility very useful and many have benefited from it right away. Apply online and enjoy interest free repayments up to 24 months. For more details can be found on our Dental Payments Plan page.
Your Child’s First Visit
This can be daunting for both child and parent, but it doesn’t have to be, so we don’t let it! We go out of our way to make the parents feel relaxed and to have fun with the kids. Dr Suzanne has two young children herself, so she genuinely loves to engage with young patients. Gaining rapport is the aim of this very important visit. Whilst in the chair, kids can watch cartoons and afterwards, they leave with a show bag full of goodies!
