Bayside ClearCorrect Aligners

There’s a popular trend happening in the world of orthodontics and that’s Clear Correct invisible braces (or clear tooth aligners).

These teeth aligners click over the top of your teeth, and these slowly move your teeth.

You are given the next set of aligners in the series 2 weeks later, and this continues until your teeth are straight.

Typically, with Clear Correct, the treatment time is shorter than with conventional metal braces. Straight teeth without the metal. Bonus!

What are ClearCorrect Aligners?

Clear Correct was developed in 2006, with their own aligners made specifically for the brand. Their patented material is made from a thinner polyurethane resin and are meant to be easier to take on and off, and more comfortably. The material was also designed to work faster than Invisalign.

Just like Invisalign, Clear Correct aligners are made without BPA and phthalates, and have been FDA-approved.

The Clear Correct treatment process is also very similar to that of Invisalign; aligners are provided in sets and require periodic appointments with your dentist to check in on progress. Bayside Family Dentistry is a provider of Clear Correct and several of our dentists have completed comprehensive technical courses on Clear Correct.

Why chose Clear Correct?

  • Clear of course!
  • Removable
  • No metal
  • Easier appointments for you and dentist
  • Shorter appointment
  • Easy to clean your teeth and aligners

Bayside ClearCorrect treatment process

Your first teeth straightening consultation

At your first consult, we will determine if Clear Correct is suitable for you.

A series of X-rays, photos and moulds of your teeth are taken for reference. These are studied and a treatment plan is created. Using 3D technology, we can show you your own virtual treatment setup so you can see what it looks like before you commit.

Once happy, we order your aligners.

It’s that easy!

Your follow on appointment frequency

We will see you every 2 weeks. If everything going well then, we can push these appointments to every 8-12 weeks.

Depending on the complexity of your case, treatment may last between 6-24 months. If you avidly wear your aligners and have attended all your appointments, the quicker they move.

Frequently Asked Questions on Clear Correct Retainers

How do I care for my tooth aligners?

As they are removable, you can brush and floss your teeth as normal. The dental aligners themselves can be cleaned easily with simple instruction we can give you at Bayside Family Dentistry.

How long per day do you need to wear your teeth aligners?

It is simple, if you are not wearing your aligners for at least 22 hours per day then this will lead to a longer treatment period with less satisfactory results.

Treatment may have to be stopped early or moved to the fixed conventional braces.

Teeth aligners work great but only if you’re diligent in wearing them all day. For the best teeth straightening result, you must commit to your aligners!
